DESCRIPTION:Oktoberfest is a real one off… A completely unique VW Event in the UK – indeed\, it’s not a ‘show’ in the expected sense at all!\nSay “auf wiedersehen” to the V-dub show season in style. Escape the humdrum of city life for the weekend and find yourself a real Volkswagen Adventure. Don’t forget to pack your wetsuits\, wellies\, mountain bikes and picnic baskets! \nHeld in October\, this is the perfect way to see off the end of a busy VW season\, catch up with old friends and family before going into hibernation for the winter. \nOktoberfest was born on a lovely campsite in Cheddar in 2008 where we spent four fabulous years before the move to The River Dart Country Park – and what a move it has been. The River Dart is like the gift that just keeps giving! This place is an absolute jewel of a campsite\, packed with an endless amount of on and off site facilities\, outdoor activities and attractions…including an utterly amazing adventure playground\, wonderful country and river walks\, zip wires\, high ropes\, bmx pump track and so much more…the kids definitely won’t go home bored! \n \n\n\n\n OKTOBERFEST IS ALL ABOUT YOU CRAZY CAMPERS\nHere at Oktoberfest HQ we love a bit of Fancy Dress. And with two great nights of entertainment\, live bands\, Dj’s\, entertainers there’s loads of scope to get involved. Friday night features our Oktoberfest Bierkeller fancy dress party and Saturday is the infamous Fancy Dress Party – with a uniquely Oktoberfest slant on the traditional. \nThe theme for 2025 is Ok-TOGA-fest. Togas\, Romans\, Ancient Greece\, Gladiators. \nWith two great nights of entertainment. Friday night is ‘Oktoberfest’ – a Bavarian themed knees up! The theme for Saturday will be Ok-TOGA-fest. And of course\, this theme will run along side our annual Halloween theme. Pick one or the other – or level up\, choose both and be ‘Dead Famous’! \n\nWe’ll be looking out for the Best Family fancy dress (parents & kids)\, Best Boy\, Best Girl and the Best Male & Female fancy dress outfits. \nThe daytime brings a whole host of competitions and fun & games for you to enjoy too including… \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDog Show – Saturday\nCircus Workshop – Saturday\nFancy dress theme – Ok-TOGA-fest. Togas\, Romans\, Ancient Greece\, Gladiators\nScavenger Hunt and Treasure Hunt\nPub Quiz\nCampsite Awards
