SUMMARY:Dubs in the Orchard
DESCRIPTION:Scrumpy Dubbers VW Club will be hosting the first ever Dubs in the Orchard in 2026 from May 8th to the 10th \nThe Venue \nThe venue is a beautiful cider farm in Somerset in close proximity to our former venue Haselbury Mill. \nNorth Down Orchard boasts rows of cider apple trees leading up to the long sweeping path which takes you to the large and flat parking and camping fields. We cant wait to see your VWs making their way to the festival through this wonderful avenue of apple blossoms next May. \nWe will be welcoming larger numbers of vans and visitors to the site\, but not so many we loose our friendly and intimate feel which has made our festival so popular! \nOur Traders \nOur traders will be pleased to be allowed more space\, flatter ground and a central position.  This new venue allows for a larger trade area plus the scope for a greater range of goods.  We also hope to welcome an auto jumble area for the many parts VW enthusiasts/owners  are constantly seeking! \nCamping \nVan Camping pitches will increase to 200 and all pitches will see an increase in size from our former setting giving even better value for money. We are also intending to have an area dedicated to camping under canvas for all those wishing to attend but owning a car or non camping vehicle. There is also potential for glamping with several Belle Tents available onsite\, some of which can be found in a lovely glade area filled with fairy lights in the evening. Further details of this will follow later in the year. \nEntertainment  \nChildren’s entertainment and Music will as usual be eclectic fun and all weekend. Many of the Children’s activities will be free to all visiting children and we will be welcoming familiar faces and new ones to add to the mix!  We are introducing onsite the amazing ‘Owl Obsession’ and  will also be hosting our popular Dog Show. \nShow and Shine will remain on the Sunday and a large area will be sectioned in the field to display the vehicles entered! \nThe venue has a large barn and covered area to enjoy music and a drink\, plenty of seating is available\, you will also find a lounge area alongside the main bar which is full of character! \nTo the back of the barn through a little passageway find a quiet seating area where you can watch the sunset with a drink in your hand and soak in some beautiful somerset countryside. \nThe Orchard \nHave a little wander through the apple orchard and you will find a seating area amongst the trees weather permitting we hope to add some entertainment here for you as well! \nWe hope we have interested you in attending our first Dubs in the Orchard. Tickets will be on sale early September\, Traders pitches from early August.
